About BargainArmy
BargainArmy is an independent deals site for people who buy power tools: homeowners, serious DIYers and tradespeople who already know which battery platform they’re on and want to pay less for the next tool.
What we do
- We track tool deals from major retailers, including Amazon, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Acme Tools, Walmart, eBay and specialist tool stores.
- We check each deal against the prices we’ve recorded for that exact model, not just the retailer’s “was” price.
- We label every deal Buy, Decent or Skip, and spell out whether it’s a bare tool or a kit and which batteries it takes.
How this site is made
We use software, including AI tools, to find deals, pull out the details that matter (price, model number, what’s in the box) and draft the short write-up for each deal. Our price records and rules decide the verdict, and deals that don’t add up are left out. Buying guides are researched and checked before they’re published, and updated when things change.
Deals are short-lived, so we mark them expired after about ten days and remove them after that. If you spot a mistake, email [email protected] and we’ll fix it.
How we make money
When you buy through some links on BargainArmy, we may earn a commission from the retailer. It costs you nothing extra, and it doesn’t decide which deals we post or what verdict they get. Plenty of the deals we link to are marked Skip. Read our affiliate disclosure for details.
What we don’t do
- No paid placements and no sponsored verdicts.
- No accounts, no comments, and we don’t sell your data.
